Where It’s Practiced

• Make A Change – Students practice transfer by using earlier credibility evaluation skills in annotated bibliographies and applying research methods to a real local problem they present publicly.
• Making Change – Students articulate the goals of their research, describe their primary research methods and provide potential solutions.
• Research Paper – Students will articulate the goals, purposes, and composing processes behind their writing, understanding why they make particular rhetorical and research choices.

What It Looks Like

Students combine surveys, interviews, and sources to support recommendations and explain how their choices and teamwork shaped the project and could apply to future projects.

Why It Matters

This helps students see research as a practical skill they can reuse beyond the classroom when solving real-world problems and collaborating professionally.
