Rhetoric & Composition II
COMP 2 is a research-based writing course that helps students understand how information is created, shared, and used to make persuasive arguments. Throughout the course, students learn how to evaluate the credibility of sources, conduct both individual and group research, and present their findings to specific audiences.
The course includes several major projects that build on each other, starting with analyzing sources, moving into a collaborative research project, and ending with an individual research paper and a final reflection on what students have learned about writing, research, and teamwork.
By the end of the COMP 2 course, students will create a digital ePortfolio that showcases their best work and tracks their growth as writers across contexts.
